LEIGH FOLK FESTIVAL

A university student project, I undertook this re-working of Leigh Folk Festival's visual identity as a self created brief on festival branding. I particularly enjoyed coming up with a way to convey the folk genre through the festival logo as well as in a line up poster. I drew out the poster border and headings then cut them out of paper using an art knife, then digitally edited these, adding in the line up from 2018 to populate the poster. The logo was formed in the same way.

This was a student brief and was not commissioned by Leigh Folk Festival or any of the bands or artists on the line up poster.
